{"id":313,"date":"2023-10-09T15:22:27","date_gmt":"2023-10-09T18:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.4servers.co\/?p=313"},"modified":"2023-10-09T15:22:27","modified_gmt":"2023-10-09T18:22:27","slug":"utilizando-o-vmware-vcenter-converter-standalone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/index.php\/2023\/10\/09\/utilizando-o-vmware-vcenter-converter-standalone\/","title":{"rendered":"Utilizando o VMware vCenter Converter Standalone"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O Converter (forma que o chamarei durante o artigo) \u00e9 capaz de converter m\u00e1quinas f\u00edsicas para m\u00e1quinas virtuais (P2V), m\u00e1quinas do VMware Workstation para ambiente do ESXi e at\u00e9 m\u00e1quinas de um ambiente Hyper-V para o ESXi.<br>As possibilidades de uso do Converter s\u00e3o muitas, mas neste artigo quero dar um exemplo espec\u00edfico que utilizo muito para ambientes standalone do ESXi onde n\u00e3o tenho a funcionalidade de template do vCenter. Para este tipo de ambiente eu tenho uma imagem preparada no VMware Workstation do sistema operacional Windows Server 2012 R2 com todos os patchs instalados e softwares que preciso. Entretanto, quando vamos criar uma nova VM com Windows sabemos que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio rodar o sysprep para n\u00e3o existir nenhum tipo de conflito com outras VMs que existem no ambiente que vieram da mesma image. O Converter \u00e9 capaz de executar o sysprep automaticamente ap\u00f3s converter a m\u00e1quina e j\u00e1 deixar pronto para uso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Primeiro instale o <a href=\"https:\/\/4servers.co\/arquivos\/Redes\/VMWare\/VMware-converter-en-6.2.0-8466193.exe\">VMWare vCenter Converter Standalone<\/a> baixando do site da <a href=\"https:\/\/my.vmware.com\/en\/web\/vmware\/downloads\/info\/slug\/infrastructure_operations_management\/vmware_vcenter_converter_standalone\/6_2_0\">VMware<\/a>. A ferramenta \u00e9 free, s\u00f3 \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio ter uma conta no site da VMware para prosseguir com o download. Clique AQUI para baixar. Depois escolha o arquivo \u201c.VMX\u201d da VM que foi criada pelo VMware Workstation, que \u00e9 o nosso caso. Lembrando que essa \u00e9 a forma que estou utilizando, mas existem diversas op\u00e7\u00f5es que podem ser usadas. Explore da forma que se adeque melhor ao seu ambiente. Preencha os campos de Server, User name e Password com os detalhes da sua infraestrutura. Podemos tamb\u00e9m escolher o Resource Pool, caso exista. Al\u00e9m disso, voc\u00ea pode escolher a vers\u00e3o da m\u00e1quina virtual. Eu recomendo deixar sempre no mais atual. Em \u201cData Copy\u201d podemos alterar o tamanho do disco. Tamb\u00e9m podemos escolher o tipo de controladora dos discos. Por padr\u00e3o, como em minha rede utilizo DHCP, prefiro deixar desmarcado a op\u00e7\u00e3o de conectar automaticamente a placa de rede. Ap\u00f3s a cria\u00e7\u00e3o eu mesmo coloco o IP fixo na placa, mas isso pode variar de cen\u00e1rio para cen\u00e1rio. \u00c9 importante criar a placa de rede do tipo VMXNET 3 que \u00e9 o mais atual da VMware e que d\u00e1 suporte a in\u00fameros tipos de placas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"802\" height=\"632\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.4servers.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-327\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware9.png 802w, https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware9-300x236.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware9-768x605.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 802px) 100vw, 802px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na tela de \u201cAdvanced Options\u201d \u00e9 onde iremos escolher para customizar a VM, ou seja, para rodar o sysprep ap\u00f3s a convers\u00e3o. Clique em \u201cNext\u201d para irmos na tela de customiza\u00e7\u00e3o do sysprep.<br>Aqui temos algumas op\u00e7\u00f5es que s\u00e3o obrigat\u00f3rias para o sysprep rodar com sucesso. Aqui podemos definir o IP da placa, se necess\u00e1rio. Essa op\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 obrigat\u00f3ria e deve ser preenchida conforme sua necessidade. Como eu vou subir a VM sem conex\u00e3o com a rede, n\u00e3o vou escolher para adicion\u00e1-la no dom\u00ednio porque n\u00e3o ir\u00e1 funcionar, mas \u00e9 poss\u00edvel definir o seu dom\u00ednio e credenciais para incluir a VM no Active Directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"802\" height=\"632\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.4servers.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware15.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware15.png 802w, https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware15-300x236.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.4srv.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/vmware15-768x605.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 802px) 100vw, 802px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Com tudo criado, clique em \u201cNext\u201d, revise as informa\u00e7\u00f5es e clique em \u201cFinish\u201d. Pode demorar cerca de 10 minutos at\u00e9 o processo do sysprep terminar, ent\u00e3o, mesmo ap\u00f3s finalizar a convers\u00e3o no Converter espere algum tempo para verificar se o sysprep foi executado com sucesso.<br>Para validar se o Sysprep executou com sucesso, podemos verificar a reg HKLM\\SYSTEM\\Setup\\CloneTag.
